Co-owned and operated by Al Yazbek and Rebecca Littlemore, Nomad is a cellar door in the city where the food and wine showcase the best local produce grown and raised by Australian farmers, grape growers and wine maker.

Inspired by the idea to open up a vineyard - style "cellar door" in the city, Al and Rebecca worked with Annie Snell of Snell Architects to convert a Surry Hills warehouse, maintaining a raw edge from its past life, and accentuating concrete and steel elements.

In keeping with the restaurant's rusticity and warehouse appeal, the Fable chair, bar stool and low stool by Australian designer, Ross Didier, was the ideal seating choice for Nomad's 150 person space. It's hand-crafted appeal and light, clear lacquered American Ash, sit well between the restaurant's exposed brickwork and sealed concrete flooring.
