Werther Toffoloni was born in Udine in 1930 and studied in Venice. He began teaching industrial planning right from the beginning of his career and has worked in various industries as a designer and art consultant. He has been designing for leading Italian companies ever since.
The principal characteristic of all Werther Toffoloni’s design activities from the beginning of his career up until today has been to search for the ideal fusion between aesthetics and design that takes into account the methods of production, their use and the environment in which the products are destined.
This has been a dominant ideal from the beginning of his professional career, that has been clearly influenced by the theories of the Bauhaus and the pursuit of "gute form."
