In October, Design Nation and Tappeti co-hosted an afternoon of design, conversation and connection at Emerald Sound, the Coogee home designed by architect Luigi Rosselli, perched above the crystal waters of Gordon’s Bay.
The event brought together many of Australia’s leading architects and designers for an intimate conversation between Luigi and Design Nation Director Bryan Rutter. Their discussion explored Luigi’s creative process, his approach to sustainability and the social responsibility of architecture, offering rare insight into one of Australia’s most respected design minds.
As the conversation unfolded, guests enjoyed champagne and canapés while exploring the residence, a masterpiece of light, texture and craftsmanship. Throughout the home, guests discovered a curated selection of Design Nation’s latest and upcoming collections, including new arrivals from Ondarreta and Indigenus, a preview of soon-to-launch pieces from Castil, Evostyle and zeoform; and a fresh presentation of much-loved designs from Miniforms.
The atmosphere was relaxed, creative and collaborative, reflecting what Design Nation stands for. Over the past year, the team has been quietly refining its direction, deepening relationships with both local and international partners and building a collection that represents thoughtful, design-led living.
More than an event, the afternoon at Emerald Sound marked a moment of reconnection. It celebrated people, ideas and the shared belief that great design begins with conversation.
