Born in England in 1981, Dean Norton graduated with an honours bachelor of arts degree in Retail Interior Design from London College of Communication in 2008. Now based in Melbourne, Norton brings a decade of experience in interior design to the Australian design community.

As a part of working on small and large scale interior design briefs, Norton often designed custom pieces specifically for each client, which eventually inspired him to develop his own furniture collection. “My ethos is to create furniture that’s authentic, considered and locally made. I like to think of my designs as pieces of art, beautifully engineered and made to stand the test of time, complimenting any personal style”. Working closely with local craftsmen and makers in Melbourne, Norton’s range brings a timeless artisan style to the Design Nation collection.
