Bringing Inside Comforts Outdoors

It’s so enjoyable to spend an afternoon outdoors with a good book and a cold drink. It’s even better if your outdoor space has a roof. Joe Minton, Fort Worth interior designer, created just such a space.

The outdoor room has a wood-burning fireplace, a table that can seat up to eight and additional seating around the fireplace. Furniture is covered in outdoor fabric and there is even a chandelier designed for outdoor use.

It looks as grand as any indoor room. Curtains are sheer and serve to divide the space and add warmth on cooler evenings. Everything that is included in the space is designed to withstand the elements. In addition, it provides the same amount of comfort as one would enjoy inside.

Other outdoor rooms created by Minton have a more minimalistic look, with some containing a bar, televisions, and artwork.
