RENE, designed by Tomoko Azumi for Zilio A&C, is a wall-mounted bicycle storage with space to hang a helmet and jackets. The popularity of cycling is ever growing in cities all over the world, but where to store one’s beautiful machine in our modern living with limited space can sometimes be a problem. Tomoko Azumi, the designer and also a bicycle enthusiast, designed a piece of wooden furniture to store a bicycle that looks good inside home. With a sledge-like steam-bent wooden structure, RENE is furnished with a fabric sling of four colour choices, and comes with a removable metal hook. RENE can also be used as a luggage hold and coat hangers when not holding a bicycle.
