MIURA, designed by Konstantin Grcic for Plank, is a round table designed to accompany the MIURA stool. It is a highly practical folding and stackable table range that has been regularly expanded and upgraded over the years to reflect its enduring success. The MIURA table’s original welded steel base has been replaced with an injection-moulded aluminium version that allows for a seamless connection between the central column and the three legs. The resulting smooth lines create a more refined form and increase the size of the joint’s section, which helps reduce dynamic stresses.
