LEEK, designed by Mentsen for Zilio A&C, is an elegant timber coat stand that is constructed from three sets of three identical elements, and demonstrates fine workmanship and joinery techniques. All parts are first steam bent, then machined accurately to create strong joints. The resulting form is stable and strong, and offers multiple positions to hold the user’s belongings. With its simple and clean aesthetics, the coat stand can fit comfortably in hallways, living or bedrooms of contemporary homes.
